If you drink beverages with caffeine, then you are well aware of the fact that you can feel overstimulated. When you drink too much caffeine, you may find it hard to focus, and you may even suffer from tremors. However, if you follow a few simple rules in regards to your caffeine consumption, then you will see that caffeine can work very effectively for you.

The number one rule in regards to lessening ill effects of caffeine consumption is to eat before drinking coffee, tea, energy drinks, or sodas. This will help save the lining of your stomach as well as reduce issues such as anxiety. If you are drinking high amounts of coffee on a daily basis, then you may want to consider cutting back on your intake. After all, the more caffeine you consume, the more resilient your body becomes. Therefore, you lose the stimulatory effects that a strong cup of coffee is known to supply.

If you have a big project you are working on, then consider drinking plenty of water before you even drink your first cup of coffee or tea. You will notice when the caffeine begins to affect your central nervous system, and you will find that you can concentrate a lot easier. However, if you drink cup after cup of your beverage of choice, then you will find yourself not being able to focus, suffering from tremors, and possibly feeling very overwhelmed.

Coffee is far more stimulating than tea, and if you over-consume this beverage, then you will certainly find yourself with the jitters. Make sure to eat a healthy breakfast before enjoying your first cup of coffee for the day. It is also wise to eliminate caffeine midday if you are a morning person. However, research has shown that you can get an energizing nap that will leave you feeling refreshed by simply drinking a cup of coffee before you take an afternoon nap. You will feel rejuvenated when you awaken, and your brain will get a boost while you catch up on some much-needed rest.

If you find that you suffer from ill side effects after consuming tea or coffee, then consider selecting your coffee beans for less caffeine or steep your tea for less time. This will help lessen your caffeine consumption, and you will find over time that caffeine is far more beneficial in regards to focusing and finishing tasks.

It is important to reduce the amount of caffeine that you are consuming on a daily basis. This will help you function, think more clearly, and increase your productivity levels when you do consume a beverage with caffeine. If you find that you suffer from withdraws, then consider mixing a half cup of decaf or switch to tea. You may also find that eating a small piece of dark chocolate helps to reduce your craving.

Once you figure out how to use caffeine effectively, you will definitely see the difference in your performance. Just remember, if you suffer from headaches, trimmers, jitters, or an upset stomach, then you need to adjust how you consume caffeine. Always remember to consume water and eat a sensible meal before enjoying your first caffeine beverage for the day.
